A dragonsnake lived on Dagobah during the Galactic Civil War. In 3 ABY, the aspiring Jedi Luke Skywalker crash-landed in the middle of Dragonsnake Bog, where the creature was at the time. The dragonsnake attempted to eat Skywalker's astromech droid R2-D2, but ended up spitting him out.
