A DRK-1 Dark Eye probe droid was sent by the Sith Lord Darth Sidious to observe his Sith apprentice Darth Maul on tasks Sidious' would send the apprentice on. Between around 40 BBY and 32 BBY, the probe droid observed Darth Maul on a mission to the moon of Dawk in order to eliminate the Devaronian criminal Coir Cion.
