An Otolla Gungan observer lived during the waning years of the Galactic Republic. From the planet Naboo, the Gungan served the Republic as an observer during a battle on the planet Drongar in 20 BBY. However, the Gungan was hit in the mouth by a sonic blaster shot from a Separatist soldier; the injury left his buccal cavity severely varicosed. The Gungan was brought to the Republic Mobile Surgical Unit 7, where he was operated on by the Duros surgeon Leemoth.
