Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

A governor of the Galactic Empire was stationed on the planet Pesmenben IV. By 0 BBY, the Human businessman Lando Calrissian conned the governor into leasing the planet by salting its dunes with lithium carbonate; posing as a non-union mine guard, he made the governor lie facedown in the bottom of a boat so that when the "union officials" raided them, the governor threw the bribe overboard. Calrissian got away with the scam without punishment.
