After the Magnus, or ruler, of the planet O'reen and the O'reenian people was killed in a confrontation with the Jedi General Morningfire and the Vornskr Company of clone troopers during the Clone Wars, a war that began in 22 BBY, a new Magnus was selected to rule the planet. This Magnus reacted to the events by advocating further isolation of the O'reenians from the rest of the galaxy.
