Unidentified potentate

A potentate lived on the Outer Rim planet Mirial during the High Republic Era. They were the leader of Mirial's military, which the Mirialan woman Abediah Viess signed up for when she was young by 382 BBY, though she eventually deserted the military to become a mercenay.

During the Battle of Eriadu in 228 BBY, Viess—by then serving as Minister of Protection in the Nihil marauders—mentally noted she intended to include her time serving in the army of the potentate, who she considered to be small-time, in the book she intended to write. Viess was ultimately killed by Jedi Master Porter Engle before she could write the book.
