This Senate Commando was the pilot of Chancellor Palpatine's escape shuttle. Anakin Skywalker cut the ship in half, and the ship fell apart, with the Zillo Beast trying to tear it apart; therefore the passengers of the shuttle fell out. After selflessly allowing Palpatine to escape on top of R2-D2 before him, he was killed when the Zillo Beast crushed him when it stomped on the shuttle.
