A defector was a former member of the Mantellian Separatist Movement active on the planet Ord Mantell in 3643 BBY. Attempting to leave the movement, the defector made contact with an individual over an open channel, seeking help to destroy data held by the Mantellian separatists. The defector revealed the location of a stealth generator dropped outside the Separatist stronghold, a fortress operated by the movement in Mount Avilatan on Ord Mantell.
