An Umbaran commando was a rookie a part of the Crystal guard's Squad One in 3629 BBY. He replaced Yuula in the squad, a fellow Umbaran commando who had gotten injured in the line of duty weeks prior. Veesh and Nira told stories to the rookie while they were transporting crystals, scaring him. While Nira was in the middle of her story, the Eternal Alliance attacked the train, springing Squad One into action.
