Utalir

Utalir was a Force-sensitive Mikkian female member of the Path of the Open Hand cult who lived at their compound on the planet Dalna. In 382 BBY, she was nine years old and one of the Path's Littles who were looked after by Path member Marda Ro.

That year, while giving away flowers with Ro at a station in the Dalnan city Ferdan's market, fellow Little Jerid teased Utalir, telling her that her yellow head tendrils were prettier than flowers and wondering what the Path would get in return if they gave her up as a gift freely given. After a Jedi briefly visited their station, she asked the other Littles what a Jedi was and Jerid told her that they were warriors who fought monsters.

When the Path's compound was threatened by flooding later that year, the Littles stayed with Elders Old Waiden and Mabel Wiss. She and Jerid even looked after three toddlers during the event.

Due to her Force-sensitivity, which was unknown to Utalir and the rest of the Path, she was attacked by a Nameless during the Night of Sorrow, but she was rescued by Marda and her cousin Yana Ro.
