Vanessa was a Twi'lek female musician performing in various locations. In 1 BBY, she performed "I'm Feelin' So Low" alongside the Ortolan musician Maximilian Rebo in Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina on the desert planet Tatooine. Her performance was cut short, however, after her microphone got shot by the human pilot Isabella.
Shortly after the destruction on DS-1 Death Star Mobile Battle Station, Vanessa went to the moon Yavin 4 and performed "Rebel, Let's Go" along with Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes during an afterparty of the Royal Award Ceremony.
