Viron Ghartoth was a male Devaronian explorer who charted fresh hyperlanes in the spinward extremes of the Outer Rim. Ghartoth was also credited with the discovery of the Paralyngian dire slug, a bloated gastropod. Ghartoth presented his Hutt patron, Gerba, with the slugs in fruit sauce. Ghartoth was unaware that this would cause an allergic reaction in the Hutt, and from his sickbed Gerba ordered for Ghartoth to be slowly devoured by his captive acklay.
