Vulta Daanat was a Dark Jedi, who trained as a Sith member of the Brotherhood of Darkness under the Dark Lord of the Sith Skere Kaan during the time of the New Sith Wars. Daanat however came to believe in a different philosophy of the Force than Kaan and the two fought, with the result being that Daanat left the Brotherhood and traveled the Galaxy in search of Force artifacts before settling on the planet Mustafar and establishing his own Force tradition known as the Blackguard.
