"Wampa"

"Wampa" was the nickname of a TIE pilot who served in the Imperial Navy's Black Squadron during the Galactic Civil War fought between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The pilot flew a TIE/LN starfighter under the call sign Black 11 and attained the "Wampa" nickname for icy precision in battle. The nickname was derived from the wampa, a fearsome and carnivorous creature hailing from the ice planet Hoth. By 4 ABY, "Wampa" was stationed aboard the Super Star Destroyer Executor and often served as an escort to the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader's shuttle, the Lambda-class T-4a shuttle ST 321.
