Webley was a technician employed by the Galactic Republic during the High Republic Era. When a crew led by Jedi Master Keeve Trennis brought to Coruscant the scout droid SK-0T, whose memory banks contained the heavily encrypted research files of the Nihil's Minister of Advancement Baron Boolan, Webley was among the technicians who attempted to extract and decrypt and datafiles. Although Webley's team was not successful in decrypting the files, they were able to copy them from SK-0T without damaging him. Webley delivered these updates personally to Chancellor Lina Soh and several Jedi Masters.
