Xaban was a female Twi'lek soldier who served in Havoc Squad, an elite unit in the Republic Special Forces Division of the Republic Army. Around 3630 BBY, the unit's leader, Major Aric Jorgan, took the squad on an unsanctioned mission to the planet Zakuul, where they waged a guerrilla war against the Eternal Empire that had conquered the galaxy.
