Xanwan

Xanwan, also known as Xan, was a human male who owned a transport business on Ferrix. He ran his business alongside the alien Granik.

Xanwan was an associate of Cassian Andor, who called the freight kiosk after escaping from prison, hoping to leave a message for his mother. Xanwan was startled by Andor's sudden contact after not hearing from him for well over a month, and hesitantly informed him that his mother had died while he'd been away.

Later, while talking with Nurchi at a bar, Xanwan drunkenly let slip that Andor knew about his mother's death and might be returning for her funeral—information which Nurchi promptly relayed to his handlers at the Imperial Security Bureau.

During the Rix Road riot, Xanwan attacked a Stormtrooper from behind, grappling and attempting to wrestle them to the ground. In response, another trooper on a rooftop across the road fired at him, striking him between the ribs on his right side and killing him near-instantly.
