Yana Ro's sire
Canon Linked from 6 articles
An Evereni male lived during the High Republic Era. Around 402 BBY, they and an Evereni female sired an Evereni daughter named Yana Ro. Between around 397 BBY and 387 BBY, when Yana was very young, the three lived on the Expansion Region planet Genetia with Yana's cousin Marda Ro, her mother and sire, as well as the cousin's grandparents.
During this time, the family was attacked by townspeople who believed them to be the case for failing crops, resulting in the deaths of Yana's sire and the grandparents. The girls and their mothers managed to escape because Marda's sire had viciously fought to ensure they could. In 382 BBY, when Yana and Marda were members of the Path of the Open Hand cult on the Outer Rim planet Dalna, Yana mentally recalled her sire's death when she considered how the Path's Children—a group who obtained Force artifacts for the Path's leader Elecia Zeveron—had come to the Path.
