Yunji Oryn was an engineer with the Rebel Alliance. When the base he was assigned to was attacked and badly damaged, Oryn designed a prototype missile launcher system using repulsorlift engines from damaged airspeeders, part of a burnt-out tractor beam projector, and ancient rockets. The weapon system was known as the RAGOC; Repulsor-Assisted Ground-to-Orbit Concussion Missile Launcher. Oryn formed Oryn Engineering and refined the design, eventually producing the production model RAX-1.
