Yurtoln was a Sith Overseer of the Sith Academy on Korriban. Decades before the Cold War, Yurtoln trained a shyrack and set the creature on his acolytes. Several years later, the shyrack turned on Yurtoln and plucked out his eye before the Overseer killed the creature. He then had the shyrack's body preserved and kept it as a trophy out of respect for the creature.
