Atravis Sector Massacres

The Atravis Sector Massacres were a series of attacks carried out by the Galactic Empire in the Atravis sector at some point between 19 BBY and 0 BBY. The sector contained the Atravis systems, a group of star systems whose planets were devastated by the attacks. During the massacres, the Atravis system suffered extensive civilian casualties.

The Atravis Sector Massacres lasted for several years and were characterized by active hostilities between pro-Republic resistance groups and Separatist holdouts, who failed to put aside their differences to fight the Galactic Empire together.

The Atravis Sector Massacres were considered one of the most frightful retaliations of the Galactic Empire. At some point, Wilhuff Tarkin stated that the massacres there were actually the fault of their victims. By 12 ABY, Luke Skywalker had seen what the Galactic Empire had left of the Atravis systems after the attacks.
