Attack on the Aurora

Sometime between 22 BBY and 19 BBY during the Clone Wars, the Galactic Republic targeted the Aurora fuel tanker of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Launching a mock attack against the tanker, the Republic dispatched a squadron of Venator-class Star Destroyers to a star system to engage the Aurora, which the government hoped would draw out the battleship known as the Starcrusher. However, the Aurora was able to flee from the star system and the Republic Star Destroyers before the battleship could be lured into the engagement.
