In 19 BBY, the Galactic Republic launched a wave of attacks against the planet Serenno, the homeworld of Separatist Alliance leader Count Dooku, during their campaign in the D'Astan sector amid the Outer Rim Sieges offensive of the Clone Wars against the Confederacy. However, despite their waves of attacks alongside concentrated efforts within the sector and Serenno system, the Republic was unsuccessful in capturing the planet from the Confederacy.
