The Battle in the Factory District occurred during the Great Jedi Purge, in 19 BBY. During their search for 10-4TO, Jedi Knight Jax Pavan and his companions fought against Black Sun Vigo Prince Xizor in the Coruscant Factory District, inhabited by hostile feral droids. While Xizor managed to escape, Imperial forces landed in the area to capture Pavan. The Jedi eventually escaped when the reactor of the Factory District droid plant overloaded and detonated, creating an eighty meter crater and leveling the entire district.
