The Battle of Chyron Belt was a confrontation that took place at some point by the time of the First Order-Resistance War in 34 ABY in the vicinity of the Expansion Region's Chyron system. It saw the participation of Amilyn Holdo, who served with the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War before eventually becoming a Vice Admiral of the Resistance.

By 34 ABY, Resistance Commander Poe Dameron had heard of Holdo's role in the Battle of Chyron Belt despite not having seen the Vice Admiral in person. That year, Dameron attended a briefing aboard the Resistance cruiser Raddus in which Holdo, after being placed in command of the Resistance fleet, addressed the attending Resistance personnel. After her speech, Dameron asked his fellow pilot, C'ai Threnalli, if the unconventional Vice Admiral who had spoken was indeed the same person who had participated in the Battle of Chyron Belt. In response, Threnalli shrugged and mumbled an affirmative in the Abednedish language.
