A battle occurred on the planet Herdessa in 22 BBY six days after the First Battle of Geonosis, the first battle of the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. During the battle, the All Terrain Recon Transports of Lightning Squadron located a weak point in the Confederacy's battle line and raided the Multi-Troop Transport that housed the Confederacy's central computer, temporarily shutting down their battle droids and giving the 121st Regiment time to push past the enemy's heavy artillery.
