During the Mandalorian Wars, in the year 3962 BBY, a battle took place in the Gizer system located in the Mid Rim's Lantillian sector. The conflict erupted when Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders invaded Galactic Republic space. The Mandalorian forces were engaged in a campaign known as Mandalorian Triumph, that took them from their territory through the planet of Contruum and to the Gizer system on their way to conquer the Core World of Duro. After winning the battle in the Gizer system, the Mandalorians continued on and fought for the Nazzri system, before proceeding further Coreward.
