A battle occurred in the Zongorlu system during the Mandalorian Wars in 3963 BBY. The star system was the first battle along one of the three invasion corridors by which the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders invaded the Galactic Republic; after invading the planet Taris, Mandalorian forces headed out along the northern edge of the Republic, and after conquering the Zongorlu system, the Neo-Crusaders moved on to Ithor and Ord Mantell.
