During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, there was heavy fighting in the Humbarine sector including the bombardment of the sector's capital, Humbarine, by Separatist forces. The orbital bombardment left the world, which was represented in the Republic's Galactic Senate, utterly seared.
