Confederate–Republic peace conference

At the height of the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems and Galactic Republic held a peace conference on the neutral world of Mandalore. Hoping to reach a diplomatic end to the war, delegations including three senators from the Republic Senate as well as the Separatist Senate met in the throne room of Duchess Satine Kryze's Royal Palace in the capital city of Sundari. However, during the conference the junior senator Lux Bonteri accused the Confederacy's leader Count Dooku to be responsible for the murder of his mother and the negotiations quickly collapsed. On the order of Separatist senator Bec Lawise, three Commando Droid Diplomats escorted him out to a starship, where they were ordered by Dooku through hologram to murder Bonteri, but were defeated by the Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano. The remaining droids followed Tano and Bonteri to the Sundari shipping docks, where they were repelled by Republic Senate Guards led by Captain Taggart.
