The ancient Corellian Treaty was an agreement in 25,000 BBY that established the Perlemian Trade Route and the Corellian Run hyperspace paths as the formal boundaries of the Slice region of the galaxy for the purposes of exploration and colonization. The Corellian Treaty indirectly established the borders of the Galactic Republic in its infancy, as most early Republic exploration occurred within the Slice, the cradle of galactic civilization. A copy of this treaty was stored in the Corellian Space Museum in Coronet City.
