Coruscant Deployment

The Coruscant Deployment, also known as the push for Coruscant, was a military operation carried out by the First Order during the First Order-Resistance War that saw the Order attempt to capture the former Imperial throneworld of Coruscant. Despite the deployment of at least two large battle groups in the operation, First Order forces were ultimately defeated. Further, during the galactic uprising against the First Order, an uprising occurred on Coruscant. Following the First Order-Resistance War's conclusion, Resistance member and historian Beaumont Kin cited a First Order file on the Deployment in his book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire, though he also noted that there remained an abundance of confusion surrounding the events at the end of the war.
