The Rebel Lambda-class T-4a shuttle Maria delivered the plans to the Galactic Empire's Death Star battle station to Princess Leia Organa aboard the Alderaanian CR90 corvette Tantive IV. The rendezvous was interrupted by the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Immortal, but the Tantive IV escaped to hyperspace with the plans.
