Diplomatic mission to Melida/Daan

A diplomatic mission to Melida/Daan took place around 395 BBY, when Galactic Republic Senator Lexxir Greylark, his son Axel Greylark, and a Jedi Knight traveled to the location Melida/Daan to release the leader of the Daan, who had been captured by the opposing Melida. When the time came to extract the leader, the Melida set off an explosion, injuring Axel and trapping Lexxir beneath rubble. Although Axel tried to rescue his father, the Jedi Knight forced Axel to leave Lexxir behind to die in order to save the others from the Melida. As as result, Axel blamed the Jedi for his father's death and came to resent them.
