During the year 19 BBY, there was a duel in Spaceport Nine on the planet Coruscant between the Jedi Knight Jax Pavan and the fallen Jedi turned bounty hunter, Aurra Sing. The duel began when Sing nearly killed one of Pavan's allies, a Gray Paladin named Laranth Tarak. After a brief lightsaber duel, Pavan trapped Sing in a reposticator that was filled with sand, which Sing slowly sunk into.
