The eighteenth Emergence was one of the Emergences in the aftermath of the Great Hyperspace Disaster, an incident when the freighter Legacy Run was destroyed in hyperspace and its debris began reverting into realspace in unpredictable locations. Occurring in the Dantooine system, the Emergence led Supreme Chancellor Lina Soh to extend an Outer Rim Territories hyperspace blockade she had initiated to prevent further disasters for another fifty parsecs.
