Founding Day

The Founding Day of the House of Organa, a Human noble family of the planet Alderaan descended from "The First Organa" and ancestors who were among the first to settle Alderaan and were pivotal in the founding of the Galactic Republic in 25,053 BBY, was celebrated with fireworks.

In 22 BBY, Alderaan's Viceroy Bail Organa, who was married to the Queen Breha Organa of Alderaan, compared the fireworks of Founding Day with the pain in his shoulders as he carried the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi during their mission to the Wild Space planet Zigoola as part of the Clone Wars.
