Freedom of Naboo

Freedom of Naboo was a regular celebration held on the edge of the Lianorm Swamp on the planet Naboo in the years following the Gungan and Naboo victory against occupying Trade Federation forces during the Battle of Naboo in 32 BBY. Prior to the battle, the swamp edges had been considered a no-man's land between the territories of the Naboo and the Gungans and were inhabited only by outcasts, but it was on the border between the two cultures that the native leaders met to plan out the battle.
