Gerrigon civil war

A civil war took place on the astronomical object, Gerrigon during or prior to 19 BBY. Prior to the civil war, Gerrigon was a thriving hub for culture and commerce. But the civil war was devasting for Gerrigon. The Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order failed to provide help, leading to the massacre of most of Gerrigon's inhabitants. Thousands were left to die on both sides of the conflict, leading Gerrigon to become unoccupied. Nature reclaimed the urban environments, but legends claim that the souls of the dead occupied the abandoned buildings.
