Incursion of Korriban

In approximately 30,000 BBY, members of the Killik species, which originated on the Core Worlds planet Alderaan and had been transplanted offworld by the powerful beings known as the Celestials, launched an incursion of the Outer Rim Territories world Korriban. The latter was home to the Sith species, which had by that time developed a pre-industrial society and members of which had mastered powerful abilities granted by the Force, specifically its dark side aspect. The Sith fought off the Killik incursion of their homeworld, and the Celestials and the Killiks both ultimately disappeared from the known galaxy around that same year.
