Mandalorian Civil War (Imperial Era)

Canon Linked from 51 articles

The Mandalorian Civil War broke out on Mandalore in the year 2 BBY, following the uprising of Clan Wren against the Imperial governorship of Mandalore, led by Clan Saxon. The war began when Mandalorian Viceroy Gar Saxon attempted to arrest Sabine Wren, a known member of the growing Alliance to Restore the Republic, and two of her fellow operatives, the Jedi Kanan Jarrus and Ezra Bridger, for their rebellion against the Empire. He also attempted to eliminate the marginalized Clan Wren, which had been tainted by association with Sabine. The ensuing skirmish at the Wren Stronghold on Krownest saw Gar Saxon's death at the hands of Countess Ursa Wren, and the uprising of Clan Wren.
