Operation Banshee was part of the campaign against the Gauntlet superweapon by the Republic Special Forces Division. After the Safecrackers demolition unit got bogged down fighting in the Quesh war in Quesh, General Elin Garza sent the Havoc Squad to retrieve them for the upcoming Battle of the Gauntlet. After arriving on Quesh and meeting with Major Donovan, Havoc Squad Lieutenant led the assault against an Imperial Command Bunker that provided the Safecrackers with the necessary break to exfiltrate.
