In 26 BBY during the Republic Era, Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker were deployed to rescue Grand Master Yoda of the Jedi Order. Unknown to them, Yoda's kidnapping was staged by the Grand Master, Jedi Master Mace Windu, and Jedi Master Bant Eerin, as they sought to test the master and apprentice.
