The search for Princess Leia was a mission to the planet Daiyu Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi undertook, in 9 BBY during the Great Jedi Purge. Kenobi took the mission at the request of Bail Organa to rescue Leia Organa, who had been kidnapped by the Third Sister as a means of drawing Kenobi out of hiding.
