Shaw Uprising

The Shaw Uprising was an event that took place by 228 BBY. The Jedi Order was involved in the uprising, which resulted in a number of Jedi being killed.

That year, Jedi Knights Reath Silas and Dez Rydan attended a service at the Jedi Temple on the Core Worlds planet Coruscant that honored the Jedi High Council members that had fallen during the conflict the Order and Galactic Republic were currently undertaking against the Nihil marauders. After being asked by Rydan when the Jedi had last suffered as many loses as they had during the ongoing conflict, Silas responded that he would need to go back centuries, with the question being how many centuries. Following this, Silas mentioned the Shaw Uprising among other events where Jedi had died, but stated that none had taken as high of a toll as the conflict with the Nihil. Rydan then stopped Silas before he made them feel sad.
