The Tularan Marsh offensive was one of the last battles fought in the aftermath of the Sith Empire's Invasion of Taris and was considered the final push which drove the Galactic Republic off the planet. It concluded in the destruction of a secret Republic hangar on the edges of the Tularan Marsh, which threatened the Empire's naval dominance above Taris, through an orbital bombardment.
