War between the Esh-kha and the Rakata

A war was fought between the Infinite Empire of the Rakata species and the Esh-kha, a violent species that had begun to wreak havoc across a swath of the galaxy. The Esh-kha's attacks on slave worlds of the Infinite Empire attracted the attention of the Rakata, who nearly wiped out the Esh-kha in the resultant conflict. The surviving Esh-kha were ultimately imprisoned on the prison planet Belsavis. A monument to the conflict was placed on the planet Hoth, which described the punishment of the Esh-kha.
