Yelsainian anti-tax insurrection

The Yelsainian anti-tax insurrection occurred on the planet Yelsain during the Imperial Period. During the insurrection, Mishowan Shigormallan came to the attention of the Imperial Security Bureau and was harassed for several months.

After a few clashes with the hostile Yelsainians, the Galactic Empire decided to impose a 20 percent tax on all incoming and outgoing trade products. This tax did not measure up to the standard Imperial tax, but this solution was considered to be far more cost-effective than sending more troops against the Yelsainians.
