The Anelsana system was a star system located in the Farstey sector of the Expansion Region. It was situated in grid square O-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid and contained the terrestrial world Anelsana. During the Imperial Era, Anelsana was under the control of the Galactic Empire, which enforced a trade embargo that the world suffered from. In 3 BBY, the Alderaanian Princess Leia Organa reflected on the past effects of the embargo on Anelsana while reviewing locations to deliver humanitarian aid, ultimately choosing to travel elsewhere.
