The Askarian sector was a sector in the Expansion Region. It contained the Hasaq and Zaloriis systems, which lay on the Nanth'ri Trade Route hyperlane, and also held the Askaria, Knooda, and Xandonia systems. Parts of the Askarian sector, including the Hasaq system, were held by Darth Revan's Sith Empire during the Jedi Civil War between 3959 BBY and 3956 BBY. During the Galactic Civil War, prior to the Battle of Hoth in 3 ABY, the Human Zalorian inhabitants of the planet Zaloriis rebelled against the Galactic Empire but were defeated by the Sith Lord Darth Vader.
